People say we monkey around
My job is rather technical. It involves databases and engineering…I’ll stop there, you’re already yawning. But today, I received some paperwork for a project at a Zoo that made my afternoon:

I'm not going anywhere if there aren't magicians.
Last night. I wish I had more proof of it than a picture, the business card for a magician and a chocolate nugget.
Going to karaoke with friends has become a Tuesday night tradition. Every week, we gather at a bar in Old City so I can sing and they can cheer me on (I have great friends) and we can all people watch.

This Radiant City: Love Feast

About bread and doing something different
I made bread dough last Monday. That’s nothing new, but the fact that I roasted two sweet potatoes at 7am so I could make the dough when I got home from work and bake it once I got back from a meeting feels noteworthy. I can judge time! I woke up early enough to go for a (terrible) run, roast a sweet potato and still be at work by 8:30! I biked home, made dough and scones, ate dinner,...

Cherri House Event

When sewing and cats collide
We’re a three-cat apartment. Our first cat, Lady, was on purpose- she had lived with me after being passed off by my sister-in-law. Then my roommate found Gladys meowing beneath the other half of our twin. Ditto with Louise 6 months later. 3 week old kittens that fit in the palm of your hand are tough to say no to, so 3 years later, we have the same amount of cats and rooms.
